Champion is a sports brand that has always been on top of its game. Established in 1919 in New York, Champion is known for pioneering a number of iconic sportswear designs including the Reverse Weave fabric in 1938, the first athletic sports bra in 1977 and the first ever hooded sweatshirt in the 30s. It is hardly surprising that Champion has won a place in all of our hearts as one of the leading, most influential sportswear brands of all time.
For this coming spring summer season Champion is reintroducing the Reverse Weave, the unique technique that prevents materials shrinking and helps to extend their lifespan. The collection pays homage to the brands history and has a very retro, and nostalgic sports feel about it, with its big Champion ‘C’ logos and bold primary colour fabrics. Theres also matching print tracksuits, joggers and hoodies. This spring summer season also sees Champion stocked in the UK for the first time in over 10 years, stores included are Selfridges, Present London, Oi Polloi and Hanon amongst more.
