In 2018, model and UK Super-influencer Stephen James, AKA @whoiselijah, launched his business ELIJAH Tattoo & Barbershop in downtown Barcelona, Spain. Well known and highly recognizable in the Fashion Industry and on social media for his striking looks and well-tattooed physique, James conceived an ingenious concept to bring together top tattoo artists and barbers from around the world under a single roof. This creative venture was a veritable game-changer and became a model for others to follow.
After fronting campaigns for companies such as L’Oreal, Calvin Klein, Sik Silk, and Philipp Plein and along the way amassing 2.4 million ELIJAH fans from all over the world, James sought a way to continue the remarkable trajectory of his entrepreneurial journey with this latest Direct to Consumer venture.
The next logical step for him was to create a signature collection of men’s products that would embrace his aesthetics and give his fans cultivated options and inspirations for personal hair care and grooming
On February 25th of this year, James, launched his haircare brand, Elijah, which is a curated collection of eight professional products that seeks to empower every grooming ambition. The ELIJAH Hair Collection ranges from shampoo and conditioner to hair products to beard oil.
ELIJAH is co-owned and developed in strategic partnership with his long-term management and brand development agency, Unsigned Group (co-owned by Guy Berryman, Coldplay). With the knowledge and expertise of leading industry grooming experts, ELIJAH marries James’ subversive barbershop culture to produce a professional quality range of products, packed with the highest-performing, natural ingredients.

ELIJAH Tea Tree Shampoo for Normal to Oily Hair
Tea Tree Shampoo: A cooling shampoo for a deeper cleanse, tames and conditions. ELIJAH Matt Clay for Short & Mid-Length Hair
Matt Clay: Styling aid, works especially well on short hair to add structure, definition, and a matt-finish with strong & pliable hold. Contains natural kaolin clay. Instructions: Warm a small amount between the palms. Distribute evenly until the product dissolves. Apply to the hair to create definition and style as desired.
ELIJAH Semi Paste for Short & Mid-Length Hair
Semi Paste: Adds volume and texture with a subtle nourishing shine. Low Sheen with Light hold; re-moldable throughout the day. Instructions: Warm a small amount between the palms. Distribute evenly until the product dissolves. Apply to the hair and style as desired.
ELIJAH Sea Salt Texturizer for All Hair Types
Sea Salt Texturizer: Body builder with a soft hold that creates raw, grungy, slept in looks. Define curls, kills frizz, absorbs oil. Adds grip and grit to just-washed hair. Thickening and volumising. Instructions: Apply a small amount to slightly damp hair. Towel off, spray through the lengths and go. Need more? For second applications, spritz onto dry hair and blow-dry to set.
ELIJAH Volume Powder for All Hair Types
Volume Powder: Adds extra body with a very matte finish. A fine powder to add thickness and fullness. Lift your roots. Boost your style. Oil-free. Instructions: Use sparingly. Hold from a distance and shake directly onto the root.
ELIJAH Beard Oil for Facial Hair
Beard Oil: Tames & Conditions. Hydrates, repairs, softens your beard whilst promoting growth. Nourish the skin. A rich blend of six essential oils. Instructions: Dispense a few drops of oil into palm and warm between hands, apply evenly through dry facial hair. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way.
