We asked Haris Seoudy at Models1 to keep a small photo-diary during his trip to V-Festival in Chelmsford, UK. We suspect that North London based Haris likes to party and why not! We all love going to gigs but festivals have an entirely different vibe – perfect for escaping the stresses of work life whilst seeing some major artists that you would not usually be able to see under one roof. V Fest first kicked off in the UK in 1996, so this is its 20th year, and it’s attracting people from all over the UK, as well as across Europe and beyond, due to diverse group of International artists on the bill.
Haris has featured in many leading and cool indie magazines including i-D Magazine, 7th Man, Numero Homme China, Fucking Young, Ponystep, Rollacoaster, Schon, Shortlist and GQ to name a few and has worked with clients that include Mr Porter, House of Fraser, French Connection, Primark, Toni&Guy, Itokawa, Kay Kwok & KTZ.
We asked Haris to tell us one thing he loves about his home town:
“One thing I love about my home town, Whetstone in North London, is the fact that it’s away from the centre of London so it’s quite green and filled with lots of beautiful parks yet it’s one straight Northern Line train into London meaning you get the peace and quiet of living away from the centre, however you can still get into town really easily for that extra spark. Not to mention all the great tasting restaurants on my high street.”
Tell us your most favourite place in the world that you’ve visited?
“Favourite place I’ve visited has to be Ibiza hands down. It’s got the best clubs in the world with the best DJs playing at them all summer. There’s always something to do out there whether it’ll be a pool party during the day or a deep house rave at night, never a dull moment on that island! Plus it’s always warm and has beautiful beaches – what more could you ask for?!”
