Paul Smith investment in the Chinese market is gaining new momentum with the announcement of two new store openings in Shanghai. After successful launches in Beijing and Tianjin, the retailer opens one of their largest stores at Shanghai’s Kerry Centre with a second store at Grand Gateway 66.
The striking contemporary design of the Kerry Centre store includes a double-level facade of luminous light boxes in bold colours which illuminate both inside and outside the store. The interior design is nothing short of luxurious where traditional meets contemporary. The store is stocked with an eclectic and individual selection including catwalk collections for both menswear and womenswear, accessories and exclusive products selected specially for the store.
The store at Grand Gateway 66 is boutique in size which allows for a more intimate experience. With three chic rooms, pieces are hand-selected specially for the store from the various Paul Smith brands including shoes and accessories. The exterior of the store boasts black steel whilst the inviting interior has well-placed coloured mood-lighting with oak floors and walls decorated with dusty pink, light green, pastel green and taupe. Paul Smith fabrics cover the stylist ottoman seating. These stores are great ambassadors for British fashion and we look forward to seeing further expansion in the region.
